Libia, our founder, grew up in a family where food was more than just nourishment—it was a celebration of culture, family, and tradition. Passed down through generations, the matriarchal recipes formed the backbone of family life, making every meal an experience that brought people together.
Sharing Heritage
While Libia’s background as a language teacher might surprise you, her true calling was always in the kitchen! For over 25 years, she ran a Venezuelan travel and hospitality business, serving mouthwatering, authentic Venezuelan cuisine to international guests. Empanadas became the star of the show, leaving visitors from all corners of the world craving more! This passion for sharing her culinary heritage eventually inspired Libia to bring the rich, bold flavours of Venezuela to the UK.
